Las Vegas – Inc. Magazine announced recently the Inc 500|5000 ranking of the fastest–growing private companies in America. Capstone Brokerage, a leading Risk Management, Insurance and Employee Benefits firm recently appeared on the list for the fourth year in a row. With this accomplishment Capstone joins the rare company of enterprises that have appeared on the list multiple times, many of which have grown to become national icons. In the past, Capstone has ranked as high as #1146 out of America’s 5,000 fastest growing companies out of a field of some 20 million privately held businesses. Capstone debuted on the list with revenues increasing more than 325% over a 3 year period.

Inc.’s annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America debuted in 1981 as a ranking of the 100 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. The following year, it expanded to the Inc 500 and, in 2007, inaugurated the Inc 5000. Through each evolution, Inc. has sought to recognize and to celebrate the creativity, dedication, and hard work that entrepreneurs put into building their companies.
Methodology
The Inc 500|5000 list measures revenue growth over a three year period. To qualify, companies had to be U.S.-based, privately held, independent – not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies and have at least $600,000 in net sales in the base year.
